The High-level Policy and Financing Dialogue will be organised as a ministerial roundtable of pathfinder countries and development partners to highlight the added value of policy integration, financing linkages and stakeholder coordination foreseen in the Implementation Strategy of the Global Accelerator.

The event will consist of the following sessions:

  • Dialogue on Policy Coherence and Partnerships: Speakers will share their plans for boosting investments in social protection and job creation to foster just transitions, to promote partnerships and to enhance multilateral collaboration, including through the UN, G20, regional for a, etc. 
     
  • Dialogue on Expanding Fiscal Space and Financing for Social Investments: Speakers will highlight various sources of financing to support the implementation of the Global Accelerator in pathfinder countries including through the INFFs, utilization of existing international financial mechanisms including with the IFIs, Regional Development Banks, and the UN Joint SDG Fund. 
     
  • Closing Segment: Brief closing remarks will provide guidance on the way forward.
